The Spacetop QR Scanner App allows you to quickly generate QR codes for Spacetop's mini-display in two separate ways:
By transferring any QR code visible in your field of view to the mini-display.
Turning any URL into a QR code visible on the mini-display.
Generating QR codes on Spacetop's mini-display allows you to seamlessly share content with others around you.
Transferring a QR code from your field of view
To transfer a QR code from your field of view to Spacetop's mini-display:
Make sure the QR code you wish to transfer is currently visible on the spatial canvas.
Using the launcher, open the QR Scanner App.
Once the app is launched, select Scanner using the toggle.
Click 'Begin Scan'. Once Spacetop identifies the QR Code, it will appear in the QR Scanner App.
Click 'Show on Mini-Display' to generate a duplicate of the QR code on Spacetop's Mini-Display.
Once the QR code is generated, a mobile device can use the QR code to navigate to its website.
Turning a URL into a QR code on the mini-display
To turn any URL into a QR code on Spacetop's mini-display:
Using the launcher, open the QR Scanner App.
Once the app is launched, select Writer using the toggle.
Enter the URL you wish to turn into a QR code. Spacetop will generate a QR code and show it on the QR Scanner App.
Click 'Show on Mini-Display' to generate a duplicate of the QR code on Spacetop's Mini-Display.
Once the QR code is generated, a mobile device can use the QR code to navigate to its website.
