While Spacetop was able to replace screens, a keyboard is still an important part of using Spacetop. Below are some answers to questions we have received about various keyboards and settings.

External keyboards do work with Spacetop. At the moment, we support keyboards that either wired keyboards and keyboards that connect via dongle.

When using an external keyboard use the windows or similar key in place of the Spacetop key for all short cuts and canvas navigation/adjustment.

Currently Spacetop does not have the option to switch to keyboards from other languages. There are many online web apps that allow you to type in an alphabets other than Spacetops default Latin Alphabet. One such web app is https://gate2home.com/ .

Currently the only keyboard layout supported by Spacetop is QWERTY. We hope to enable other keyboard laypouts in the future.
