Step for resolving possible issues

Spacetop Doesn't Wake from Sleep Mode

  1. Try pressing Shift+Shift at the same time once to re-center the content towards you

  2. If the display still shows nothing, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds until the Spacetop shuts off. The mini-display will blink - this is completely normal behavior

  3. Click on the power button once to turn Spacetop back on. The Mini-Display will blink twice.
    The “S” logo should be visible within ~30 seconds.

The Spacetop System Crashed and is Stuck on the 'S' Logo

  1. Hold the power button on the Spacetop for ten seconds until it shuts off completely

  2. Once off, hit the power button once to reboot Spacetop. The mini-display will blink multiple times. This is expected behavior

Jittery Display

  1. Wait 30 seconds for it to stabilize.

  2. If there is no improvement, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds until the Spacetop shuts off. The mini-display will blink - this is completely normal behavior.

  3. Click on the power button once to turn Spacetop back on. The Mini-Display will blink twice.
    The “S” logo should be visible within ~30 seconds.

Display is moving with Head Movement

Sometimes Spacetop will shortly go into a mode where the content will follow your head movement from side to side.

  1. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds until the Spacetop shuts off. The mini-display will blink - this is completely normal behavior.

  2. Click on the power button once to turn Spacetop back on. The Mini-Display will blink twice.
    The “S” logo should be visible within ~30 seconds.

  3. Spacetop should return back to its onboarding state visible after another ~40 seconds. Hit CTRL + Shift + Q to skip onboarding and return back to the spatial canvas.

Touchpad isn't responsive

  1. press and hold the power button for 10 seconds until the Spacetop shuts off. The mini-display will blink - this is completely normal behavior.

  2. Click on the power button once to turn Spacetop back on. The Mini-Display will blink twice.
    The “S” logo should be visible within ~30 seconds.

Spacetop Overheats

  1. Power down Spacetop by navigating to the Spacetop menu in the lower-left corner of the home bar and selecting 'Shut Down'.

  2. Give Spacetop a few minutes to cool down before turning it back on. ​

Content is 'Swimming'

Every now and then, the content you see on Spacetop might be 'floating' or 'swimming' in different directions. Try a few of the following to resolve this quickly.

  1. Hit Shift + Shift once on the keyboard to re-center the content.

  2. Wait for 30 seconds for the content to stabilize itself.

  3. Reposition yourself to be situated in an environment with a bit more natural light.

  4. Click the power button once to put Spacetop into sleep mode. Wait a few seconds and click the power button again to wake Spacetop.
