Connecting a Google Account to Spacetop

To maximize Spacetop functionality, a Google account must be added and synced directly with SpacetopOS.

Updated over a year ago

Syncing a Google account will enable seamless login to all applications and web applications.

While only one Google account can be actively synced with Spacetop on initial login, you can log in and out of multiple accounts as needed within the browser (Gmail, Drive, Office 365, etc.).

Connecting a Google Account to Spacetop:

  1. After a new device setup (or factory reset), you will connect to your WiFi network, update to the latest system version, reboot, and then login to your Google account.

  2. Follow the Google sign-in instructions within the log-in window.

  3. When login is successful, you'll get to the Spacetop canvas, and begin your experience.

  4. Note: Spacetop account is intended for a single user, but many users can login within the browser after initial setup.

Logging out of a Google Account:

  1. Locate the home bar at the base of the spatial canvas.

  2. Open the Spacetop menu by clicking the S icon on the left corner of the home bar to open the System Menu.

  3. Select ‘Account’ to open the account management area.

  4. On the account management area, select 'Disconnect', then 'Disconnect Account'.

Please note that for security purposes, logging out of a Google account on Spacetop will initiate a factory reset of your Spacetop. This will wipe Spacetop's memory clean - so any files you store locally will be erased.
